Rules:

 

Oakbrook Elementary has adopted four school wide expectations that will serve as our classroom rules. You will be able to monitor your child’s behavior by checking your child’s homework folder daily. If your child gets a stick, the homework sheet will tell you what color stick-s he/she received for the day. For example, if the homework sheet say ”1 red” you will know that your child was having trouble with doing his/her Personal Best.

Your child should be able to tell you exactly what he/she did:

Please ask him/her...discuss more appropriate choices for behavior with your child and sign or initial the homework sheet.

Please, remember to send the folder back every day!

 

Guidelines:

 

Red: Personal Best “Stay in your seat and raise your hand and wait to be called on. Follow classroom and school procedures”.

Blue: Act Responsibly “Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself”.

Green: Work and Play Safely “Use school tools wisely”. Follow playground rules.

Purple: Show Respect “Respect the feelings of others-be kind and nice”.
