Hi...My name is Lynn Gunter.  I am married and have three children. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. This is my third year teaching first grade.  However, I was an instructional assistant for ten years in first grade at OES. Prior to this, I taught Learning Disabled Resource classes in a junior high setting in Houston, Texas, for nine and half years.

        I enjoy reading, baking and needlework. I enjoy taking walks, going to the beach and doing activities with my family and church.

        I enjoy working with first graders because I can actually see the great gains the students achieve over the year!

        I am thankful for OES and their commitment to excellence and their desire for these children to not only learn but to put what they learn into practice and to prepare them to meet this world with confidence.
